Innovators

Destiny USA has created an Innovator workforce model that is unlike any other in the construction, hospitality, or retail industries. At Destiny USA, we don’t call our workforce employees we call them Innovators. The Innovators have been hired to aid in the construction and, once completed, the operation of Destiny USA. Innovators are characterized by their desire to push their personal limits, their ability to develop new skills, and their willingness to adapt.

Every newly hired Innovator is put through an orientation process. They are enrolled in an initiation course that entails learning about Destiny USA and the culture that surrounds the project, while reviewing American History and participating in team building exercises. Following this process, each Innovator is required to complete a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification course, and take an eighty-hour National Center for Construction and Engineering Research (NCCER) class. In these programs, the Innovators are taught the basics of construction safety through classroom and hands on experience.

Upon completion of training, Innovators are deployed to an assignment that matches their personal skills and the needs of the project. Some are placed in the field working on various construction jobs, while others work in an office environment, overseeing a wide array of operations.

Each Innovator may rotate from assignment to assignment periodically, so that they may be exposed to new aspects of the project — while keeping them engaged and effective. The goal of the model is to create and maintain a workforce that is specialized, not just in one area, but in the entire project; an employee that will have the ability to cater to a customer’s every need.

The model offers a compelling employee experience that is proven to attract and retain employees. The Innovator workforce model has the potential to transform the industry by increasing employee engagement and satisfaction.
