As a bartender at Mojitos Mexican Cantina, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of drinks, including traditional Mexican cocktails and our signature creations. You will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience by providing excellent service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and crafting beverages with precision and flair.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar area.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients.
- Assist in creating and updating the drink menu, including seasonal cocktails.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve mixology skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Mexican beverages, including tequila, mezcal, and traditional cocktails like margaritas and palomas.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
