SYRACUSE, NY – November 22, 2016 – Destiny USA announced the completion of concrete construction on its new 209-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel. The significant “topping off” milestone was reached by Hueber-Breuer Construction Co., spanning 77 days, including 26 concrete pours covering seven levels and 5,930 cubic yards of concrete. Construction efforts will now shift to enclosing the hotel and then development of the interior, with an anticipated opening of fall 2017.

The Embassy Suites hotel will be the first hotel located onsite at Destiny USA. It will feature an onsite restaurant and pool, and be the go-to property for guests traveling to visit Destiny USA and experience Central New York.

The $48 million project was financed by a lending group led by M&T Bank and joined by Berkshire Bank and Tompkins Trust Company. Upon completion of construction, the hotel will be operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, the nation’s second largest independent hotel management firm.
