– Excellus BlueCross BlueShield promotes healthy lifestyles by continuing sponsorship of Destiny USA’s Walking Program —
Syracuse, NY (April 16, 2019) – For years, avid walkers have taken advantage of the perfect weather inside Destiny USAand strutting their stuff. Once again, Destiny USA is proud to announce that Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, a provider of high-quality, affordable health insurance coverage to about 1.5 million people across upstate New York, will sponsor the Walking Program for the rest of the year.

Special markers placed on the 1st floor of the complex create a set path of 1.2 miles for mall walkers to follow. In total, there are 3 miles of indoor walking space at Destiny USA, spanning four levels, highlighted on Excellus BlueCross BlueShield’s “Fearless Steps Forward” website available at https://tinyurl.com/yytp6kfh.

Walking maps, and materials to help track mileage and better understand how to combine healthy living, eating and exercise, will be available at Destiny USA’s Guest Service locations, found on the first level underneath the carousel or on the third level outside of TGI Fridays.
The Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Walking Program has been in place since 2016. Mall walking at Destiny USA is always open to the public and free of charge.
