On New Year’s Eve, we closed out 2017 with a “bang” at Destiny USA by providing a free family magic show featuring “Wade Live,” in The Canyon followed by an impressive fireworks display that truly lit up the skies of Syracuse to ring in the New Year. Major Milestones for Destiny USA

Give your clients the chance to learn more about the Central New York area by directing them to the brand new interactive I Love New York Central New York Welcome Center, located inside of Destiny USA on the 2nd level near the pedestrian bridge. In addition to access to loads of information about the surrounding area and its history and appeal, they will also find a wide variety of local products and gifts available for purchase in the Taste NY gift shop located within The Welcome Center.
New Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Options at Destiny USA
Burger King:
Known for its premium ingredients, signature recipes and affordable food, Burger King, the original home of the Whopper, is now open in the Destiny USA food court.
Dough Life:
The nation’s latest sweet treat craze has landed at Destiny USA! Dough Life, a purveyor of edible cookie dough, features several flavors – including chocolate chip, s’mores and red velvet – all made with treated flour and there are no eggs used in the process, making the product safe to eat without baking. Dough Life serves it chilled and scooped like ice cream into cones and dishes on the 2nd level in the Macy’s wing.
The Museum of Intrigue:
Museum of Intrigue is an all-new immersive, interactive theatre experience with a game component located on Destiny USA’s 3rd level. From the producers of “Escape the Estate” and “Frightmare Farms,” this one-of-a-kind museum allows guests the opportunity to find clues, challenge the mind and meet strange characters, all while solving an intriguing mystery.
Box Lunch:
Box Lunch, a pop culture gift store with a cause is now at Destiny USA, offering a selection of the world’s most popular licensed shirts, accessories, collectibles, beauty, home goods and gift and novelty merchandise for pop culture enthusiasts. With every $10 spent on its curated collection of merchandise, Box Lunch helps to provide a meal secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks. The store is located on the 2nd level in the Lord & Taylor wing.
Roll Roll Ice Cream:
Roll Roll Ice Cream, the delicious treat that comes with a unique and fun experience, is now open on the 2nd level of the Canyon at Destiny USA. The ice cream is poured into a pan, mixed with your choice of fresh fruit, candy or other ingredients, chopped, frozen and then rolled up and served with your favorite toppings and syrups!
Macy’s Backstage:
Macy’s has opened a 16,600 square foot “store-within-a-store” Macy’s Backstage discount outlet on the 2nd level of their existing Destiny USA store. It features name-brand clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, and makeup at discounted prices. The new off-price store is one of 100 scheduled to open throughout 2018 across the USA.
Athletic Apex:
Athletic Apex, a state-of-the-art, all-inclusive health and fitness club committed to helping people of all ages and walks of life reach the apex of their bodies’ potential, is now open at Destiny USA. Offering guests a wide range of exercise equipment, free weights and group exercise classes, along with signature amenities like free towel service, group Boot Camp classes, and a Kids’ Center, Athletic Apex is located on both the 1st and 2nd levels near Best Buy.
Panama Jack:
A name synonymous with soaking up the best of the tropics has brought its feeling of escape, fun, adventure and island lifestyle to Destiny USA on the 2nd Level near the Canyon area. The breezy, relaxed ways of the tropics can be found in everything that bears the Panama Jack name. Its offerings include signature sun care products, sunglasses, beach apparel, footwear, and hats.
What’s Ahead – Coming Soon:
Athleta:
Athleta, a fitness apparel brand exclusively for women and girls (owned by Gap Inc.) is bringing its active lifestyle clothing to Destiny USA this summer. The new store will be located on the 2nd level. In-store perks include free fitness classes, free hemming, a fitness professional discount program and expert fit stylists.
Shatter & Case:
Shatter & Case will be opening multiple locations throughout Destiny USA for both cell phone repair and accessories later this summer.
Group Day Pass Program Additions for 2018
Destiny USA’s Group Day Pass Program gives you the opportunity to build fun and adventure (and, maybe even some food) into an itinerary. The program is available to groups of twelve or more and is fully customizable to fit any budget/time constraint. The savings are substantial (up to 65% per person) over the individual venue and meal costs. New participants include The Museum of Intrigue, Cinnabon, and World of Beer.
